The Drift League Announces 2024 Season - Follows New FD Format

The Drift League Unveils Exciting Plans for the 2024 Season: Taking FormulaDRIFT Licensing to New Heights

[Riverside, CA] - The Drift League (TDL), the esteemed FormulaDRIFT (FD) sanctioned Pro/Am competitive drift series, is proud to announce its highly anticipated 2024 season. With a steadfast commitment to fostering the growth and development of aspiring professional drift competitors, TDL is poised to deliver an unparalleled experience that combines a tandem competition with professional-level preparation.

As an official FD Pro/Am drift series, TDL provides a platform for emerging talent to showcase their skills and prepare for competitive levels of drifting. The top competitor at the end of the multi-round championship, will earn a coveted FD license and eligibility to compete in the following season.

Since its inception, TDL has been dedicated to instilling a culture of excellence and professionalism within the drifting community. Emphasizing proper vehicle preparation, mechanical & safety inspections, and the intricacies of running a professional-level drift program, TDL serves as a launching pad for drivers with aspirations of competing at the highest levels of the sport.

The 2024 season of TDL includes three competitive events scheduled to take place at the renowned Willow Springs International Raceway in Southern California. Each round of competition will feature practice sessions, a seeding bracket designed to prepare drivers for the rigorous challenges of FormulaDRIFT, and final tandem competitions, providing participants and spectators alike with an adrenaline-charged experience unlike any other.

Course layouts for each round of competition have been meticulously crafted to challenge drivers with varying technical layouts, ensuring an exhilarating and unpredictable spectacle for all involved.

New to 2024, TDL will be introducing a new livestream featuring stream-dedicated announcers, a live broadcast of the competition to an online audience, and behind the scenes action in real time. The livestream provides expanded reach for sponsors and drivers potentially across the globe.

The excitement begins with Stage 1: The Return, scheduled for June 29 at The Balcony, Willow Springs International Raceway.

Stage 2: Redemption, will take place on September 7 at the Speedway, Willow Springs International Raceway. Registration details will be available soon.

Stage 3: King of the Hill, will conclude the season on October 17 at Horse Thief Mile, Willow Springs International Raceway. Registration details will be available soon.
